About Luxury Egypt
This site sets luxury Egypt tours next to each other: 7 to 12 day private tours that join Cairo and Giza to a Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan, 4 and 5 day Nile cruises on 5-star ships and dahabiyas, and a private Cairo stay. It compares tour listings, the operators' own information and official sources such as the UK travel advice and the Egyptian antiquities ticket pages. We do not operate or personally conduct these tours. The full line-up sits in the luxury Egypt tours catalog.
Why It Exists
Every luxury Egypt tour looks alike in a search result: the pyramids at sunset, a sun deck on the Nile, a gold mask. The listings rarely put the details that change your trip in one place. Is the guide a private Egyptologist or a shared group guide? Are the hotels named 5-star properties or hotels the listing never names? Is the cruise a large 5-star ship or a dahabiya with a handful of cabins? Are the domestic flights, Abu Simbel and the entrance tickets inside the price? What does the cancellation policy really say?
Those are the columns of the comparison table here, read off each listing.
Where the Figures Come From
Tour prices, ratings, review counts and inclusions come from the listing on the platform that sells each tour. Start points, hotels, cruise ships and timings come from the listing and the operator's own information. Flight and drive times, monument fees, entry rules and seasons come from official sources, Wikipedia and published travel guides, each linked where it is used.
When two sources disagree, the page shows both or leaves the figure out.
What You Will Not Find
There is no invented guide or traveler behind these pages, and no claim that anyone from the site sailed these cruises. Reviews shown are short excerpts from four and five star platform reviews. A complaint that comes up often, such as a 3 a.m. start for Abu Simbel or a crowded day at the Valley of the Kings, is written into the comparison with what to do about it.
How the Site Is Paid For
The booking buttons are affiliate links to GetYourGuide and Viator. If you book through one, the platform pays a commission and your price does not change. No operator pays for a place, a badge or the pick.
